We work in groundworks and construction, chasing the next job like every other small firm. FurrowLead is the tool we wanted.
Why it exists
Finding work off planning applications meant two bad options.
The first was trawling council planning websites in the evening, one council at a time, each one laid out differently. By the time you’d found a job worth pricing, half the night had gone.
The second was paying a big data company for the same information. Their prices are quoted, not published, they’re built for larger main contractors.
Neither suits a small builder or trade. So we built the thing we wanted ourselves.
What we built
FurrowLead checks the planning portals overnight, 376 councils scanned nightly, and puts the new applications in your counties into one feed on your phone. You filter it to your trade and the miles you’ll travel. Open a lead and the agent or architect’s business contact details are there.
Prices are on the website: £29 a month for your first county. No contract, and a 7-day free trial with no card needed.
How we work
We tell you when a council goes quiet. Council websites go down or change. When that happens the app flags it, and the next scan catches up.
